Day 4
Modball Day 4 kicked off slowly after the events of the previous day and night. Everyone seemed to be just a little worn out after the flat tires, closed passes and other delays that came into play. After a little breakfast it was time for Team Rare JDM to give a brief interview to start off the day and of course we delivered.

A quick meeting, a few jokes and a swift wipe down and we were all back on the road heading out to the Grand Canyon. First stop for gas turned out to be a little gas station connected to the Cherry Patch Ranch. Yes, this is a brothel. Having to take a closer look, a few of us rang the door bell and got a brief tour of the “Brothel Museum”. Another check off the bucket list and back on the road we went, cutting through Vegas on the way.

Resisting that burning urge to just stop the trip all together and hit the casinos, we managed to stay on track and take the lead for the day. Realizing that the rest of the group decided to stop for alcohol at Costco, (appreciate that by the way), we pushed on, not wanting to add anymore hours to the already long drive ahead of us.

Making good time, we managed to arrive about 2 hours before the rest of the group which gave Zack a chance to stop and take some great shots of the G next to a couple planes at the Planes of Fame Museum off Highway 180. These shots will be posted up here soon.

All things went pretty smoothly this section of the run except for a few GPS challenges that for some reason wanted us to take a dirt and gravel road to our hotel. Google Maps FTL! Finding the hotel, we checked in, made it to the room and headed out for a bite to eat.

After a little play time down at the hotel bar and arcade, and after a very discouraging beat down at pool by what I’m now sure is one of Britain’s best Snooker players, It was definitely time to crash, and rest up for the bash that was in store for us at the Palms in Vegas.
